Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Text2G website (the "Service") operated by Intrepid Development ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

G-CODE SAFETY DISCLAIMER - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The G-code generated by this Service is provided "AS IS" and is intended for educational and informational purposes only. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for reviewing, verifying, and testing any G-code before use on actual machinery.

IMPROPER G-CODE CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE to CNC machines, workpieces, and may result in personal injury or death. Always validate generated G-code with appropriate simulation software and proceed with extreme caution when using generated code on physical machines.

Service Description

Text2G is a web-based service that converts text descriptions into G-code for CNC machines using artificial intelligence technology. The Service uses the Grok 3 Mini AI model to interpret user descriptions and generate corresponding G-code.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

API Usage and Rate Limits

Our Service may utilize third-party APIs including the X.AI Grok API. Usage of these APIs is subject to rate limits and service availability. We reserve the right to implement usage limitations to ensure fair distribution of resources among all users.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Intrepid Development and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Australia and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Intrepid Development.

User-Generated Content

You retain all rights to your text descriptions and any G-code you generate through the Service. However, by submitting text descriptions to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and analyze this content solely to operate, improve, and maintain the Service.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TEXT2G, INTREPID DEVELOPMENT, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • ANY ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES IN THE G-CODE GENERATED
  • PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR MACHINE DAMAGE OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVICE
  • ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN
  • ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, TROJAN HORSES, OR THE LIKE, WHICH MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH OUR SERVICE BY ANY THIRD PARTY
  • ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE SERVICE

THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SECTION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

User Responsibility for G-code Verification

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that you are solely responsible for:

  1. Thoroughly reviewing and verifying any G-code generated by the Service before use
  2. Testing generated G-code in appropriate simulation software prior to executing it on physical machinery
  3. Ensuring that the G-code is compatible with your specific CNC machine and setup
  4. Operating your CNC machine in accordance with all safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations
  5. Setting appropriate feed rates, speeds, and cut depths based on your specific tooling, material, and machine capabilities

The Service provides G-code based on general CNC programming conventions but cannot account for the specific requirements, limitations, or safety features of your particular CNC machine. You acknowledge that executing unverified G-code on CNC machinery can result in serious damage, injury, or death.

Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

INTREPID DEVELOPMENT, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AND ITS LICENSORS DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE G-CODE GENERATED WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SAFE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR ANY PARTICULAR CNC MACHINE OR SETUP
  • THE SERVICE WILL FUNCTION UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION
  • ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED
  • THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS
  • THE RESULTS OF USING THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend our Service, and any service or material we provide via the Service, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if, for any reason, all or any part of the Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
